Graduate Certificate in High Performance Sport

Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia

About this program

The Graduate Certificate in High Performance Sport is aimed at professionals who want to develop advanced, specialised sports science expertise. Students learn to deliver a range of sports science services that support athlete health and performance, building knowledge in strength and conditioning, coaching science, and the combination of testing and training methodologies with research, data analysis, and evidence-based strategies. The course is available part time, allowing it to be studied alongside existing work commitments, and prepares graduates to support athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders across different sporting disciplines and environments. High performance sport is not a listed skilled migration occupation in Australia, so the course is better suited to building sports science expertise than to a migration pathway. This course is delivered by Murdoch University in Western Australia.
