About this program
K-Track is a free 15-week program designed to help students qualify for entry into an undergraduate degree. There are no prerequisites to apply, and the program starts at a year 10 level. It is taught on campus by staff at the Kulbardi Aboriginal Centre, with classes limited to 30 students for tailored support. The course can be studied full-time over four days a week, Monday to Thursday, or part-time over two days a week across two semesters, Monday and Tuesday in the first semester and Wednesday and Thursday in the second. Applicants must be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and at least 17 years old, and must complete a writing activity before starting. K-Track is fee-free and is approved by Centrelink as a full-time study option, so eligible students can apply for payments. The program takes a holistic approach, building academic skills alongside soft skills such as time management, communication, critical thinking, and mindfulness practices. The program is delivered by Murdoch University in Western Australia.

Admissions
This course is available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only. There are no pre-requisites for K-Track, however students will need to sit a two-hour writing activity to gain entry.
