About this program
This course covers the community development ideas and practices used to create and foster community-led change in settings across Australia and beyond. It suits community work practitioners and graduates moving into the field or substantially broadening their postgraduate knowledge of it. Students examine real community projects, from remote-area cultural-strength initiatives to urban agriculture, grassroots creative-arts projects and activism, using case studies, documentaries, film and other creative formats alongside workshops on community engagement. This course is delivered by Murdoch University in Western Australia.
