About this program
Murdoch University's Master of Development Studies is a two-year degree (48 credit points) covering public policy and international affairs, critical approaches to development, sustainability, state and governance dynamics, food security, gender, health and security studies.
A distinctive option is in-country study in Indonesia through the ACICIS consortium, either a semester or a summer development practicum. Students finish with a capstone that can be a case study project, a supervised internship or a research thesis. It runs full-time, part-time or blended, and is open to graduates of any discipline. It suits people heading into international development work with NGOs, government aid programs, regional organisations or consultancies.
