Master of Engineering Practice
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
A two-year master's that takes graduates of a three-year engineering technology degree up to professional engineer level, and also accepts holders of a four-year engineering degree wanting to upskill. Three majors hold full Engineers Australia accreditation at professional engineer level and are recognised under the Washington Accord: environmental and sustainable systems, smart and renewable electrical power systems, and intelligent industrial control and autonomous systems.
The degree builds in more than 300 hours of practical experience through an integrated professional practice unit and a professional portfolio, and offers design or research minors for those heading toward a doctorate. It suits engineering technologists seeking chartered-track recognition and engineers moving into renewable energy, automation or environmental systems work.
