Master of Professional Communication
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
A postgraduate communication degree aimed at executive, managerial and entrepreneurial roles in communication and media, completable in as little as 1.5 years with credit for relevant prior study or work. Unlike Murdoch's research-weighted Master of Communication, this program is built around applied practice: students work with real clients on real projects through the Work Integrated Learning program, including placements in MESH, Murdoch's on-campus consultancy, and choose from a wide range of online units to shape the degree. Entry is a bachelor's degree in the field, or an unrelated bachelor's plus at least one year of relevant full-time work experience. Graduates work in corporate and marketing communication, public relations, content strategy and media management. It suits people moving up into communication leadership or into the field from an adjacent career.
