Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia

About this program

A two-year master's (48 credit points) covering the foundations of public policy, comparative governance, public sector administration and management, political communication, and public sector corruption and its prevention, with electives in areas such as environmental policy and international development.

Students complete a research project with a Murdoch industry partner for academic credit, and there is an optional in-country study option in Indonesia through the ACICIS consortium. It is open to graduates of any discipline and runs face-to-face or blended from the Perth campus with two intakes a year. Recognition of prior learning can shorten it. It suits recent graduates and working professionals aiming for roles as policy analysts, ministerial advisers, evaluation officers or policy consultants in government, the not-for-profit sector or consulting.
