About this program
Murdoch's general enabling course, a 14-week program for both school leavers and mature-age applicants who do not have a competitive ATAR or recent formal study. It builds academic writing, research, referencing and study skills, and can be taken on campus or in a more flexible format. On successful completion, students receive a selection rank equivalent to 70, which qualifies them to apply for most Murdoch undergraduate degrees. Entry into programs with their own additional selection criteria is not guaranteed. It suits people who need a single semester of university preparation before starting a bachelor's degree.
