About this program
OnTrack Flex is a free enabling course that can be completed full-time over one semester, or part-time over a longer period, studied online or on campus at Murdoch's Perth, Mandurah, or Rockingham campuses. It is designed as an adult learning environment that can lead into an undergraduate degree, helping students develop study habits and learning strategies, access tuition to build academic skills to undergraduate level, and build a network of peer and academic support at Murdoch University. Students complete four units with assessment tasks such as essays, quizzes, oral presentations, learning portfolios, reports, and an exam, with feedback on each task used to guide further study. Delivery is flexible, with a choice of full-time or part-time study, on-campus or online, and elective units linked to a student's area of interest. On-campus students typically attend a two-hour workshop each teaching week plus a one-hour online lecture, alongside independent online study, with class days varying by campus. As an enabling program rather than a full degree, it functions as a pathway into undergraduate study rather than a standalone qualification.

Admissions
You must be: *An Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold a Permanent Residency or Humanitarian visa; *At least 17 years and 6 months old by 1st January in the year you will undertake OnTrack Flex, OR you have completed year 12. *You must also meet the minimum English Language Competency requirement which is completion of Yr 11 and 12, or have successfully completed a Certificate III in any program, or a Certificate II in General Education for Adults; OR successful completion of the OnTrack Flex Readiness Evaluation.
