About this program

QUT Master of Cyber Security runs across three semesters, about 1.5 years full-time. It starts with programming fundamentals and web development with databases, moves to identifying vulnerabilities in computer systems, then advances into cyber security governance, the software development life cycle, human-centred design, computer networks and security, and human factors in cyber security. Work-integrated learning includes a significant industry project or industry research experience. English language requirements apply, with recognised qualifications from approved English-speaking countries considered. Indicative international tuition is around A$45,500 per year. Graduates work as cyber security specialists, information security analysts and penetration testers, and in security strategy and network design roles.
