About this program
The RMIT Bachelor of Fashion Enterprise examines the business of fashion across product, consumer, retail and global markets, blending creative thinking with the commercial capability to develop, source, communicate and sell products in a changing global industry. Shaped by leading academics and industry practitioners, students work on live briefs with industry partners and can undertake an internship. Graduates work in fashion buying and merchandising, brand and marketing, product development and retail management.

- Year 1 Year 2 Year 3 Learning outcomes Work integrated learning (WIL) Year 1 Year 1 Step straight into the world of fashion enterprise through active learning, building a strong understanding of how fashion businesses work. You will explore business models, consumer behaviour, marketing, textile materials, digital applications and the cultural forces shaping fashion stories, while beginning to think and work like an emerging global fashion professional. Year 2 Year 2 Shift into applied learning as you begin shaping your identity as a fashion enterprise specialist. You will develop creative and commercially relevant solutions, build fashion ranges, examine global sourcing and omnichannel retail ecosystems and deepen your expertise through your chosen major, minors or electives while strengthening your strategic, collaborative and sustainable decision-making. Year 3 Year 3 Bring everything together through authentic industry-engaged live projects through Work-Integrated Learning and a self-directed Fashion Enterprise Capstone project. You will refine your professional voice, present your ideas, build networks and develop a portfolio that positions you for careers across product management, buying, marketing, retail, digital analysis, global business, sustainability or your own fashion enterprise. Prerequisites: Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English other than EAL; or a study score of at least 27 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or equivalent studies .
