About this program
The Bachelor of Laboratory Medicine (Honours) at RMIT University prepares students to work in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, working alongside doctors, pathologists and scientists. Students gain fundamental knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, develop communication and professional skills, and are introduced to factors that impact the health of individuals and communities, particularly First Nations peoples. They build skills in molecular diagnostics and the application of biochemical and molecular biology techniques to the study of human diseases including infectious diseases, inherited conditions and cancer, and learn clinical immunology and pathology. It is taught in Melbourne.
