About this program
The RMIT Graduate Diploma of Media teaches how each segment of media functions and builds the knowledge to make content and campaigns succeed in an agile, ever-changing environment. Calling on extensive industry links, students undertake a collaborative media project to develop an original production with input from peers, teachers and practitioners, and can undertake an industry placement. Graduates work in media production, content strategy, communications and campaign roles.

Upon successful completion of the Graduate Diploma of Media, you will have the highly specialised knowledge and practical skills required to thrive in the modern media environment. With its focus on creativity and production, this graduate diploma will prepare you for roles in: Film: producer, director, videographer, video editor Marketing and communications: digital content developer, social media marketer, communications consultant New media: visual journalist, videogeapher, podcaster You may also use your newly developed skills to forge your own path as an entrepreneur or content creator, or pursue further study with the Master of Media
