About this program
RMIT University Master of Cyber Security is open to graduates from any discipline: entry needs an Australian bachelor degree with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0, or at least five years of relevant work experience in areas such as information security, programming, software engineering, systems or business analysis, architecture, ICT management or information systems. There are no prerequisite subjects. A research option lets students take on a real cyber security problem through a minor thesis covering research, design, implementation and evaluation of a solution. Credit and recognition of prior learning, including professional-body accreditation, can shorten the degree. Indicative international tuition is around A$46,100 per year. Graduates are prepared for a range of roles as ICT security specialists, a field Jobs and Skills Australia projects to keep growing.
