UndergraduateCommunications & Media
Bachelor of Media Production and Communication
Torrens University Australia, Multi-campus, national, Australia
About this program
The degree runs 20 core subjects plus four electives over three years, combining media production craft (camera and capture, lighting, post-production, advanced video production, motion graphic design) with a marketing and business specialisation track (marketing fundamentals, integrated marketing communications, marketing strategy, brand and product management).
A Work Integrated Learning subject sits early in the sequence rather than only in the final year, and the elective spread lets students pull in entrepreneurship (Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Venture Ideation), events (The Business of Events) or advanced digital marketing subjects. The course explicitly builds in generative AI and automation literacy as part of its content-creation training.
Delivered on campus at Melbourne (domestic only) and Sydney and online, 3 years full time or 6 years part time.
