About this program
A one-year pathway diploma delivered by UC College over three trimesters at the Bruce campus, worth 24 credit points, combining first-year communication and media units with a required Academic English unit and academic-skills teaching. On completion, students move directly into the second year of University of Canberra communication and media bachelor's degrees. Entry requires IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. It suits students, particularly international students, who do not meet direct entry or who want a supported first year with built-in English development. UC College runs the same model in Business, Design, Health, Information Technology and Science.
