About this program
An intensive English language program delivered by UC College for students who need to improve their English before starting a University of Canberra course. Teaching is full-time in graded levels focused on academic English: reading, writing, listening, speaking, and the research and study skills used at university. The length of study depends on a student's current level and the level their intended course requires. On successfully completing the required level, students progress into their UC program without sitting a separate external English test. It suits international students who are close to but not yet at the English entry requirement for their degree.
