About this program
The University of Canberra Master of Information Technology and Systems is a transition master for graduates from any discipline, assuming no prior IT knowledge. It runs two years full-time, to a maximum of six years, with specialisations in Cybersecurity and in AI and Machine Learning, each 18 credit points, plus flexible unit choice and exit awards of a graduate certificate or graduate diploma. Work-integrated learning is built in, giving students real or work-like placements and professional connections. Entry requires an Australian bachelor degree in any field or equivalent, confident desktop-computer use, and strong spoken and written English.
