About this program
A part-time enabling pathway delivered by UC College for mature-age people who finished school more than two years ago, have been away from study, or want to retrain or move into para-professional work. Classes run about four hours a week across two sessions at the Bruce campus, building the academic writing, reading and study skills needed for university. Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and aged over 19. On successful completion it provides a pathway into a University of Canberra undergraduate degree. It suits adult learners returning to formal study who want a supported, low-intensity start.

Admissions
Completion of Year 11 (or equivalent secondary schooling); designed as an alternative entry pathway into UC bachelor's degrees for students who do not yet meet direct-entry ATAR requirements.
