University of Canberra, Canberra, ACT, Australia
About this program
A one-year pre-university course delivered by UC College at the Bruce campus for international students who have completed the equivalent of Year 11 but do not meet direct entry to a University of Canberra bachelor's degree. The curriculum is pitched at Australian Year 12 level: 12 units across English, mathematics, technology and humanities and society, worth 36 credit points over three terms, developing both English proficiency and university study skills. Entry requires IELTS 5.5 with no band below 5.0 and a minimum age of 17. On successful completion, students gain entry into the first year of most UC undergraduate degrees. It suits international students who need a recognised foundation year before starting university in Australia.
