About this program

The Bachelor of Theology critically examines life and faith through the study of scriptures, theological traditions and historical contexts, broadening self-understanding and facilitating cultural engagement. Students develop knowledge across broad areas of theology with depth in particular interests, alongside research and communication skills, preparing graduates for further theological study and, where relevant, ministry-setting placements. It is the most widely delivered undergraduate award in the consortium, offered by 12 University of Divinity member colleges, and can be combined with the Advanced Diploma in Philosophy, the Advanced Diploma in Theology and Ministry, or the Bachelor of Ministry as a dual qualification.
