About this program
The Graduate Diploma in Spirituality allows students to explore their own spiritual experience in light of theological scholarship in spirituality, providing a substantial foundation for further study. Graduates are able to articulate insights for Christian practice and identity. It is a distinct award from the Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction, focused on the academic study of spirituality itself rather than formation for the spiritual-direction ministry, and is delivered by three member colleges (Catholic Theological College, Pilgrim Theological College and Whitley College).

Course structure
1 term of coursework
- The award consists of 144 points (6 standard postgraduate units): 96 points of postgraduate units in the disciplines of Spirituality or Spiritual Direction
- and 48 further points of postgraduate units in any discipline. Standard full-time duration is 1 year (up to 3 years part-time)
Admissions
Minimum academic requirement is one of an undergraduate degree or a Graduate Certificate; probationary admission is not available. Up to 72 points of credit may be granted, per the University's Credit Policy.
