About this program
The Master of Environment is a flexible two-year degree taught by experts from nine faculties across the University of Melbourne, letting students build a study plan across policy, science and business. After two core subjects, students follow one of twelve specialised streams, such as climate change, waste management, or conservation and restoration, or tailor their own plan, and complete a capstone that can be an overseas field subject, a major research project or an industry internship. It is taught on campus at Parkville with March and July intakes. Graduates work in environmental policy and regulation, sustainability strategy and consulting, conservation and land management, climate and carbon roles, and environmental analysis across government, business and non-government organisations.
