About this program
The Master of Geography at the University of Melbourne examines the interface between social and natural sciences, letting students choose between physical, human or integrated geography streams. Admissions
To be considered for entry into this course, you must: Have completed a bachelor degree (AQF7) in a cognate (relevant) discipline with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 65%, or equivalent. Cognate (relevant) disciplines include: Anthropology, earth, ocean and/or atmospheric science, ecology and evolutionary biology, economics, environmental science, geography, political science, social science, urban studies or zoology. The entry requirements published for this course will apply from the mid-year 2026 intake onwards.
