The University of New England Master of Information Technology has a strong technical focus for graduates who want to refresh their skills or change careers into IT, and can be entered with no IT background, graduating ready for roles in private industry, government or research. Most students study online across three study periods a year with 24/7 tutor support, though some units include a mandatory on-campus intensive school in Armidale. A Graduate Diploma in Information Technology is available as an early exit. One entry pathway accepts a graduate certificate, graduate diploma or honours degree at AQF level 8 or overseas equivalent in a relevant discipline; applicants may need to demonstrate they meet the English language requirements.
