About this program
The Bachelor of Global Indigenous Studies at the University of Newcastle, offered through the Wollotuka Institute, prepares students to challenge and develop policy affecting social justice in the Indigenous workforce and community. Students learn to engage with Indigenous knowledge systems to respond to ecological, social and economic challenges, and to work with local and global communities. The degree develops skills in social innovation, cultural competence and multimedia capabilities for a range of careers addressing pressing global issues.
