Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice (Honours)

University of Queensland, Brisbane, QLD, Australia

About this program

The Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice (Honours) is a one-year full-time program at the St Lucia campus that allows students to investigate a justice-related issue in depth while developing specialist knowledge and analytical capability. Coursework in research methods and advanced criminology supports an independent honours thesis completed under close supervision, and students strengthen their ability to evaluate evidence and communicate findings through seminars and research activities. It builds strong foundations for postgraduate study. Graduates work as analysts, program design consultants and policy advisers, and in criminal profiling, research and academia, across government justice agencies, research institutes and the non-government sector.
