About this program
The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology is a half-year postgraduate program at UQ's St Lucia campus for graduates who have not previously studied IT and want to master its foundations. Students complete four courses from a wide range of options covering software systems, database systems, information security and user-centred design, from introductory to advanced level. It can be a pathway into the Graduate Diploma or Master of Information Technology. Graduates move into IT support, systems and database roles, or continue to further study.
