About this program
The Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology is a flexible one-year postgraduate program at UQ's St Lucia campus for scientists who want to update their technical skills in areas such as molecular biology, protein technology or bioinformatics, or gain research laboratory experience. It integrates practical scientific training with commercialisation and innovation, with students selecting from more than 25 courses. It can lead into the Master of Biotechnology.
