About this program
The Graduate Diploma in Information Technology is a one-year postgraduate program at UQ's St Lucia campus for graduates who have not previously studied IT, or who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Information Technology, and want specialist IT knowledge. Students complete eight courses covering a comprehensive range of IT concepts and techniques, focusing on computer-based information systems and database technologies. It can lead into the Master of Information Technology. Graduates move into IT, systems and database roles across industry and government.

A sample of what you will study includes: Introduction to Software Engineering, Design Computing Studio 1 - Interactive Technology, Introduction to Information Systems, Relational Database Systems.
