Master of Cyber Security
University of Queensland, Brisbane, QLD, Australia
About this program
The University of Queensland's Master of Cyber Security is a two-year degree, reducible to 1.5 years with recognised prior learning, that is deliberately multidisciplinary: it brings together students from technology, business, mathematics, social science and law. Students choose one of four fields of study, Cyber Defence, Cryptography, Cyber Criminology, or Leadership, and each ends in a capstone that can be an internship or a research project. The curriculum is mapped to the United States NIST NICE cyber security workforce framework. Graduates work as security analysts, cyber policy and governance specialists, digital forensics practitioners, and security managers across government, finance and consulting. Indicative international tuition is around A$53,760 per year.
