- This is a 32-unit program: you complete all 32 units in one Field of Study chosen from UQ engineering specialisations, including Bioprocess, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Materials and Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Software, or Urban Water Engineering, combined with engineering management coursework. Admissions
To be eligible for entry, you'll need a 4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline for your chosen Field of Study, or a 4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering that includes all of the relevant discipline content. You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.5 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification. Relevant disciplines vary by field: for example Chemical Engineering requires chemical engineering or process engineering background; Civil Engineering requires civil or structural engineering; Electrical Engineering requires electrical, electronic or power engineering; Software Engineering requires software or computer engineering.
