About this program
The Master of Urban Water Engineering (Professional) at the University of Queensland is an Engineers Australia accredited degree that trains engineers to manage the whole urban water cycle, from drinking water supply through to wastewater treatment. Core courses cover drinking water supply source, treatment and distribution, and sewer network design, operation and maintenance, addressing a global shortage of engineers who understand how the different parts of the urban water system interact. Admissions
Relevant disciplines for previous qualifications Relevant disciplines include chemical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, groundwater science and engineering, hydrology and water resources engineering, hydropower engineering, water conservancy engineering, water science and engineering, and water supply and drainage (science) engineering. If your bachelor's degree in engineering was not awarded in these disciplines, you must have successfully completed all of the following discipline content in your tertiary studies: advanced/higher/engineering maths chemistry and at least 3 from: mass and energy balances transport and transfer reaction engineering water or wastewater engineering separation process technology or unit operations process synthesis and flowsheeting environmental systems fluid mechanics hydraulics or hydrology
