- An undergraduate university degree typically consists of a combination of core
- major and elective courses designed to provide you with foundational knowledge and opportunities for an in-depth deeper dive into your chosen field. Core Courses (4 Units) Core Courses (4 Units) Students complete the following four (4) core courses for all majors except Counselling Practice and Psychology. HAC1100 - Creating Impact (1 Unit) HAC1004 - Storytelling (1 Unit) HAC2000 - Technology and Identity (1 Unit) HAC3001 - Careers (1 Unit) OR Core Courses - Counselling Practice Major (4 Units) Students completing the Counselling Practice Major as their primary major are required to complete the following four (4) core courses. Admissions
ATAR 58.00 This is the lowest adjusted score to which UniSQ made an offer in Trimester 1, 2025. Meeting the lowest adjusted score doesn't guarantee admission. To study this degree, we assume you have sound knowledge in: English (Units 3 & 4, C), or equivalent We assume that your knowledge is equivalent to a grade C or higher in Units 3 and 4 at high school level (typically studied in Year 12). Non-ATAR portfolio entry You may be eligible for non-ATAR portfolio entry if you: are in Year 12 and want early assurance of entry, or recently finished Year 12 but did not get the required ATAR for your preferred UniSQ degree, or are at least 17 year of age and did not receive an ATAR. Eligible applicants must attend an interview (in-person or online) and submit a portfolio of original creative work from the past three years, with a cover letter (all submitted online). Your portfolio can include school work, volunteer or work experience, or personal projects. In your submission, you can showcase fresh and new perspectives or different points of view, as well as your passion and commitment to your preferred subject area.
