About this program
Develop as a creative researcher and cultivate your advanced academic and creative practice, delving deeper into your area of interest. You’ll grow your knowledge through a research-driven project in your chosen discipline, or in an interdisciplinary space. Working with a supervisor from the School of Creative Arts, you can choose to produce a creative work and exegesis or choose a traditional research focus on a dissertation exploring your creative arts field. Previous students have, for example, recorded an album of original music, developed a script for a film, written a solo work for theatre, developed a game, or prepared an article for publication based on their research. UniSQ offers supervision for the below disciplines: Film, Television and Radio Digital Design, Games, and Animation Music Theatre Visual Arts Creative Arts and Wellness.

- A one-year Honours degree builds your independent research

Admissions
Completion of a bachelor degree, or equivalent, in creative arts or relevant discipline, with a minimum Grade Point Average of 5.0. Submit a proposal outlining the initial direction of your Honours research (750 words). Have an interview with relevant supervisor/s (online or face-to-face). Applicants with equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience may be considered for entry into the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) by the School of Creative Arts on a case-by-case basis.
