About this program
The University of Sydney no longer admits new students to a standalone Bachelor of Information Technology. Its current undergraduate computing degree is the Bachelor of Advanced Computing, a four-year program in the Faculty of Engineering with majors in computer science, cybersecurity, software development and computational data science, which can also be taken combined with commerce, science, arts, law or the Dalyell scholars stream. Students who specifically want an information-systems focus can take the Bachelor of Commerce with a Business Information Systems major. For postgraduate study, Sydney offers the Master of Information Technology and the Master of Computer Science. This page is kept for reference because the Bachelor of Information Technology still appears in older listings and in the CRICOS register. International tuition for the Bachelor of Advanced Computing is around A$63,400 per year.
