About this program
The University of Sydney does not offer a standalone undergraduate Bachelor of Laws for direct school-leaver entry. Its undergraduate law degree is available only as a combined degree, pairing the Bachelor of Laws with another bachelor's degree such as arts, commerce, economics, science, advanced studies or engineering honours. These combined programs run five years or more and total around 240 to 312 credit points, of which 144 credit points are law units, including 102 credit points of compulsory law study. Students who already hold a bachelor's degree in another field enter law through the graduate-entry Juris Doctor instead. This page is kept for reference because a standalone Bachelor of Laws appears in the CRICOS register and older course listings. International tuition for the law component is around A$58,000 per year.
