About this program

The Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science (Honours) at the University of Sydney is a stand-alone additional year of study open to graduates who have completed the pass degree, undertaken in any area of science or arts in consultation with one or more supervisors. Students design a research program that may span more than one discipline, such as physiology and biology, with additional coursework or technical training as required by the project.
The Faculty of Science has a strong record in postgraduate research funding and supervision. Graduates move into careers spanning academia, science media, administration, education and business, shaped by their chosen major.
