About this program
The Master of Digital Health and Data Science at the University of Sydney is co-designed and co-taught by the School of Computer Science and the Faculty of Medicine and Health's Biomedical Informatics and Digital Health group, giving students advanced data science skills applied to healthcare. Core units cover implementation science in digital health, foundations of digital health, and applied and foundational healthcare data science, alongside further data science electives.
Graduates deliver data-driven solutions to complex health challenges in leadership roles across medical and health professions, including data scientist and solutions architect positions. Sydney is ranked second in Australia for medicine and first in Australia for computer science and information systems.

To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have: A bachelor’s degree with honours in a cognate discipline with at least a credit average; or Completion of the requirements of the embedded Graduate Certificate in Digital Health and Data Science with a credit average.
