About this program
The Master of Environmental Science and Law at the University of Sydney combines complementary study in environmental science and environmental law, extending scientific knowledge into environmental policy and legal frameworks. Compulsory units in environmental law and policy and legal reasoning are paired with environmental science units chosen to suit the student's interests, linking science with politics, law and project evaluation.

Admissions
For admission into this course, you should have: a bachelors degree or higher with a credit average in one of the following disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Ecology, Climate and Atmospheric Sciences, Marine Science, Geology, Geography, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Economics, Environmental Archaeology, Sustainability, Agriculture, Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Policy, and Law, or equivalent qualification; or a bachelor honours degree or postgraduate qualification in a noncognate discipline, or equivalent qualification. A credit average means a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 65.
