About this program
The Master of Transport at the University of Sydney is Australia's first interdisciplinary degree covering the engineering, urban planning and business management of transport. Students complete core units from the transport discipline, electives, and a capstone project, developing skills to analyse and design transport systems and the interdisciplinary judgement to work across engineering, planning and policy.
The course draws on the University's Institute of Transport and Logistics and its transport engineering research strengths. Graduates move into roles such as transport and infrastructure consultant, global fleet manager, transport engineer and urban and regional planner.

Admissions
To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have: an Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, with a credit average (65 percent) in a cognate discipline, or an equivalent qualification or an Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, with a credit average (65 percent) in a non-cognate discipline, and three years of relevant work experience
