About this program
The Bachelor of Communication in Creative Writing at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) pairs core communication subjects with a Creative Writing stream covering narrative, writing and editing, and publishing practice. Disciplinary electives include media law and ethics, digital audiences and creative advertising, and students can add a second stream in journalism, media business or strategic communication.
Graduates build a portfolio across fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry and screenwriting. Study takes three years full-time. English requirements are IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing.
