About this program
The Bachelor of Food Science and Technology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) covers food technologies, processing, product development and nutrition, built on core science study in chemistry, microbiology and biochemistry. In the final year, students conceptualise, develop and test a new food product as a capstone.
Students can take electives across science or from other faculties such as business and law. Study takes three years full-time. English requirements are IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing.

Admissions
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. Assumed knowledge: Mathematics Advanced; any two units of English; any two units of Science. Chemistry, Mathematics Advanced are recommended.
