About this program
The Bachelor of Forensic Science at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) covers crime scene, laboratory, courtroom and intelligence processes through core subjects, then a major in analysing biological traces, chemical substances, crime scenes or digital data. Teaching is by the UTS Centre for Forensic Science, using the Super Lab and crime scene simulation facilities.
Graduates of the chemistry major are eligible for membership of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute and the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society. Study takes three years full-time. English requirements are IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing.

Admissions
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. Assumed knowledge: Mathematics; any two units of English; any two units of Science Chemistry and Biology are recommended.
