About this program
The Master of Forensic Science (Extension) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) covers the interpretation of forensic traces, then specialist subjects in chemical criminalistics, biometrics and forensic toxicology, plus 24 credit points of professional science subjects in communication, statistics and data. A capstone project is completed collaboratively.
Teaching is by the UTS Centre for Forensic Science, using the Super Lab and crime scene simulation facilities. Study takes two years full-time. Graduates work in public and private forensic laboratories and agencies. English requirements are IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing.
