About this program
The Master of Screen Arts and Production at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is a practice-focused degree taught in a studio-based environment by industry professionals. Students work in scripted and unscripted formats, develop a professional portfolio, choose electives in areas such as camera systems, media editing and production, and complete a self-designed short screen project.
Study takes about 18 months full-time. Graduates work as multi-skilled screen practitioners in film, television and online content. English requirements are IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing.

Admissions
Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent in Society and Culture or Creative Arts OR Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent in any field of study AND A minimum of 2 years full-time, or equivalent part-time, relevant professional work experience in the screen industry AND an interest in the course and demonstrated understanding of the opportunities present in Screen Arts and Production.
