Master of Information and Communications Technology

University of the Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs, QLD, Australia

About this program

The Master of Information and Communications Technology at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) is a two-year, 14-course program (CRICOS 092873M) offered at the Sunshine Coast and UniSC Adelaide campuses and online. It covers data analytics, data science engineering, data and process management, cybersecurity and research methods, including the ethics of privacy and security when organisations collect and use data.
The program has professional accreditation with the Australian Computer Society (ACS), which matters for international graduates because ACS is the skills assessing authority for most ICT occupations in Australian skilled migration. Students with a bachelor's degree in ICT may be eligible for 48 units of block credit, shortening the program. UniSC lists graduate roles including business analyst, data analyst and cyber security specialist. International students on a student visa must study on campus and full-time.
