About this program
The Bachelor of Criminology at the University of Wollongong helps students explore crime trends, offending, victimisation, prevention and policy from individual, social and structural perspectives, examining why people commit crime and how societies respond through policing, courts, prisons and alternative justice approaches. The degree emphasises evidence-based thinking, helping students develop skills in analysing data, questioning misinformation and clearly communicating complex ideas, and students learn from internationally recognised academics. Graduates work in criminal justice, policy, research, corrections, policing and community roles.
