Graduate Certificate in Food Science

UNSW Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia

About this program

UNSW's Graduate Certificate in Food Science gives graduates from related science and technical disciplines a focused way to build food science expertise, helping them meet or maintain professional accreditation standards while developing the technical analysis skills food science problems actually require. The four-course program suits people updating their knowledge in an existing science specialisation as well as those moving into food science from an adjacent field, with a clear pathway into the Graduate Diploma and Master of Food Science for students who want to keep progressing. It functions as both standalone professional development for people already working in food-related industries and a genuine stepping stone toward a full postgraduate food science qualification. Entry suits science and technical graduates looking to formalise food science knowledge they may already be applying informally in their current role.
