About this program
UNSW's Graduate Certificate in Information Technology gives students a way to develop or expand IT knowledge and skills, suited both to those with an existing qualification wanting advanced IT topics and to those with no IT background who want an introductory grounding before committing to a longer qualification. The program articulates fully into the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology and Master of Information Technology, with full credit for completed courses, though students can also graduate directly from the certificate alone. Admissions
All candidates are required to have, at a minimum, a Bachelor Degree (AQF 7 or equivalent) with a weighted average mark of 65% (or equivalent). Block Credit Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL): - Block Credit Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL) of up to 24 UOC may be granted to students with an appropriate qualification, i.e. a degree from a cognate program. - Details regarding RPL eligibility can be found at UNSW Engineering Postgraduate Recognition of Prior Learning .
