About this program
UNSW's Graduate Diploma in Information Technology builds on the shorter Graduate Certificate with deeper training in an IT specialisation, suited both to students with an existing IT background wanting advanced study and those with minimal IT background wanting a genuine qualification in the discipline. Admissions
All candidates are required to have, at a minimum, a Bachelor Degree (AQF 7 or equivalent) in a related discipline with a weighted average mark of 65% (or equivalent). All courses completed towards the 7546 Graduate Certificate in Information Technology at UNSW will be recognised for the purpose of advanced standing for the 5546 Graduate Diploma in Information Technology. Block Credit Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL): - Block Credit Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL) of up to 24 UOC may be granted to students with an appropriate qualification, i.e. a degree from a cognate program. - Details regarding RPL eligibility can be found at UNSW Engineering Postgraduate Recognition of Prior Learning .
